Instructor Terms

By registering to become a teacher on the Filthy Rich University website, you are consenting to comply with the Instructor Rules which are in synchronization with our User Terms of Use. These terms of service contain information relating to the Filthy Rich University network and are included in the Terms of Use which is the general agreement that applies to your utilization of our services. Explanation of certain terms are available in the Terms of Use. Impartial of the fact that a subsidiary of Filthy Rich University deals with payments meant for you, you are in an arrangement directly with Filthy Rich Idea, LLC, a company situated in Wyoming, U.S.A.

1. Instructor Obligations

As an instructor, you must take full accountability for all materials that you put up, such as lectures, quizzes, coding activities, practice tests, assignments, resources, answers, class home page content, labs, evaluations, and announcements.

You guarantee that you will:

  • provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and your services as required by the Services and maintain and promptly update this information to keep it accurate, current, and complete;
  • you also guarantee that you will have the qualifications, credentials, and expertise (including education, training, knowledge, and skill sets) necessary to provide the services and content you are offering, and that you will use reasonable care in providing such services and content;
  • and you also agree to maintain a quality of service that corresponds with the standards of your industry and instruction services in general.

You guarantee that you will:

  • not post or provide any inappropriate, offensive, racist, hateful, sexist, pornographic, false, misleading, incorrect, infringing, defamatory or libelous content or information, or post or transmit any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, or any other form of solicitation (commercial or otherwise) through the Services or to any user;
  • you also agree not to use the Services for business other than providing tutoring, teaching, and instructional services to students, frame or embed the Services (such as to embed a free version of a course);
  • you will not circumvent the Services;
  • you will not impersonate another person or gain unauthorized access to another person‘s account;
  • you will not interfere with or otherwise prevent other instructors from providing their services or content;
  • you will not abuse Filthy Rich University resources, including support services.

 2. License to Filthy Rich University

You irrevocably authorize Filthy Rich University to have license of your Submitted Content to enable them to offer, distribute, publicize, and otherwise exploit it. This allowance also extends to providing access to your Content to third parties, including students and partner outlets, resellers, affiliates, bargain sites, and financed advertising on third-party platforms. Unless different legal arrangements are made, you reserve the right to remove any part or entirety of your submitted content at any given time.

With the exception of any licenses given to students and rights supporting Filthy Rich University’s marketing efforts, the rights given shall cease to be applicable to new users 60 days after the content’s deletion. Moreover, for ensuring quality of the Services and other objectives, Filthy Rich University reserves the right to record and use all or any segment of your submitted content. You also provide your authorization for them to use your name, likeness, voice, and image in association with the Services, your submitted content, or Filthy Rich University’s content, and you waive any rights of privacy, publicity, or similar rights under applicable law.

3. Trust & Safety

3.1 Trust & Safety Policies

You agree to comply with Filthy Rich University’s Trust & Safety policies and Restricted Topics Policy, as well as any other quality and content standards established by Filthy Rich University from time to time. Filthy Rich University reserves the right to revoke content, deny payouts, and/or ban instructors for any reason and without prior warning. This could be the result of: not adhering to Filthy Rich University’s policies or violating any legal terms; the content being of an inferior quality or having a detrimental effect on the student experience; acting in a way which is unfavorable to Filthy Rich University; the employment of a marketer or associate who is in breach of Filthy Rich University’s regulations; competing unfairly with Filthy Rich University by promoting said business out of course policies; or as determined by Filthy Rich University at their own discretion

3.2 Co-Instructors and Teaching Assistants

When you add another user as a coinstructor or teaching assistant for content you share on Filthy Rich University, you are responsible for complying with our Co-Instructor Relationship Rules and Guidelines. By allowing someone else to take action that affects your courses and account, you accept that any violations of Filthy Rich University’s policies by your additional instructors may also impact you, and Filthy Rich University is not responsible for disputes between you and your co-instructor. If a revenue share has been assigned, their share will be taken out of your own earnings based on the ratios set in the Course Management settings of the purchase date.

3.3 Relationship to Other Users

Instructors and students/learners don’t have a direct agreement between themselves, thus, information regarding students/learners can only be acquired from the Services. You must agree that any data received from students must only be used for the purpose of providing services to them on Filthy Rich University, and no one else. Furthermore, you must guarantee that you won’t obtain or store extra personal data beyond the Filthy Rich University platform. Lastly, you agree to indemnify Filthy Rich University against all claims resulting from your handling of a student’s personal data.
